Jacinda

When Jacinda began her yoga journey in 2015, she was neither flexible nor strong. Over time, yoga has improved her posture, relieved lower back and wrist pain, increased shoulder mobility, and reduced anxiety. She views yoga as a path to continuous self-improvement physically, mentally, and spiritually. Initially favouring fast-paced classes, she now values slower, more intentional practices focusing on alignment and adjustments.
Her health philosophy is to maintain her abilities as she ages for long-term well-being. Inspired after observing her parents in a yoga class, Jacinda pursued teacher training to understand adjustments for safety and effectiveness. She loves learning about anatomy and alignment, which she integrates into her teaching to improve daily functioning.
Her teaching journey is driven by a deep desire to share her knowledge and help others practise safely. Jacinda ensures her classes are accessible to everyone, including beginners, those with limited flexibility, and older individuals. She emphasises alignment, awareness, inclusivity, and safety, while keeping the sessions challenging and enjoyable.
Her own recovery from injuries has further informed her approach to adapting practices for individual needs.
